Enabling Eve is the wounded and colonized feminine archetype. Consequently, she enables the archetypal naked king by continuing to coddle him as if he were her son, therefore keeping him in an infantile state and emotionally stunted. 

The question remains, did she enable him because of her naivete, or is there something more manipulative going on here? Perhaps the answer is both and more! 

I came to see this archetype several years ago while still living in New Orleans. It was a great epiphany for me when I realized that the war was not happening in the masculine principle, but rather in the feminine principle between the Madonna  and Whore, Eve and Lilith.
